SENIOR IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Seniors are currently finishing their studies.†Their last regular school day will be Friday, May 22, 2015. Between now and then, students should be resolving any financial debts. Seniors were given an index card for teachers to sign designating that all assigned books and materials have been returned. If students owe an outstanding debt, they will not be allowed to receive their caps and gowns. This year,†the first date and time to receive caps and gowns will be this Friday, May 22, 2015, at 1:00 PM in the library†at BCHS.†Only students that have cleared all senior debts are allowed to pick up their caps and gowns.†
Monday, May 25, 2015, is a national holiday, Memorial Day. School is closed.
On Tuesday, May 26, 2015, on-field seating will be available for sale starting at 7:00 AM in the front office of BCHS. Seating is limited to 200 seats. Senior students are allowed to purchase a maximum of 4 seats at a price of $10 each until the 200 seats are sold. Last year, all 200 seats were sold in less than an hour.†
Also on Tuesday, senior students are invited to attend their celebration senior breakfast in the cafeteria at 8:00 AM. This breakfast is for senior students only!†At 9:00 AM, individual teachers and subject area departments will be honoring students at our morning awards ceremony. Parents are invited to attend if they so choose, but seating is limited. Following the morning awards ceremony, senior students are invited to stay in the cafeteria for the senior slideshow.†At 6:30 PM that night, seniors and their families are invited to attend the BCHS Scholarship and Awards Ceremony in the cafeteria.
On Wednesday, May 27, 2015, baccalaureate practice will be held at 9:00 AM at Christian Fellowship Temple. The address of the church is†251 West Ohio Avenue in Macclenny.†The baccalaureate service will be held at 7:00 PM that evening. Students are required to be at the church by 6:00 PM.
The first mandatory graduation practice will be on Thursday, May 28, 2015, at 8:00 AM on the field of Memorial Stadium in Macclenny. A free hamburger and hot dog cookout will follow the practice.
The second mandatory graduation practice will be Friday morning at 8:00 AM. Students are required to return to the stadium by 6:00 PM that night.†Graduation ceremonies are scheduled to begin at 7:00 PM.
SUMMER READING REQUIREMENTS
All average English classes require 10 points ( multiple books are fine) on a 4.0 or higher BL ( book level) as determined on AR book finder.
Honors reads 15 points worth on a 4.5 or higher BL.
Testing first week of school.

Mrs. Elizabeth "Betty" Taylor was a legendary teacher, friend and mentor to so many of us. A "Betty Taylor Scholarship" has been implemented to honor her every year and keep her memory close to our hearts.†
